Experimenters are proving that millet contains a higher choice to different cereals as they need sustenance, minerals, energy, supermolecule and phytochemicals..Value added products of millets are possible to interrupt negative impact of agriculture and food security. 

Millets are a group of largely variable small- seeded meadows, extensively grown around the world as cereal crops or grains for mortal food and as fodder.There are two broad orders of millets, major and minor millets. While pearl millet, sorghum, finger millet and foxtail millets come in the order of being the major millets, others similar as savan, Kodo, chinna etc., are considered as minor millets. Little Millet may be called little but in no means its nutritive content is little. It’s a rich source of B- vitamins, minerals like calcium, iron, zinc, potassium among others. Little millet contains around 5.2 g of fat with a good content of unsaturated fat that ensures a healthy metabolism and latterly, a healthy weight loss. Its high fibre content is yet another advantage making it an ideal relief for rice in foods like Pongal or indeed kheer. 

Proso millet is rich in protein and has complex carbohydrates. This millet is of low glycaemic indicator. It has a high content of antioxidants and minerals like magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus. This helps in precluding conditions like osteoporosis. still, the advanced world cultivates this millet to use it as raspberry feed. It’s yet to be consumed as mainstream millet.
